ADIABATIC SUBCOOLING
Adiabatic condenser pre-cooling is a technology that uses water evaporation to cool the air before it enters the condenser. In our conditions, the air temperature is reduced by 6–12°C depending on the outdoor air temperature and humidity. This allows the cooling system to operate more efficiently during summer conditions, reducing electricity consumption and increasing cooling capacity.
Advantages of adiabatic condenser pre-cooling:
Reduces condensation temperature and consequently pressure → better and less strained compressor operation. Lower electricity consumption (often over 20% during peak loads). Short payback period. Increases the capacity of the cooling system – useful in summer when cooling demand is highest. Extends the compressor lifespan since it operates under lower load. Can be added to existing systems.
